Health is a state of being well and being free from all kind of sickness from the body and mind. In other words, it the general condition of person’s body and mind.
According to the World Health Organization; Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well being of a Man. It is not merely absence of diseases or infirmity. However, man has a body, soul and spirit which control his life.
This agrees with the saying that “A healthy body is a healthy Mind”.
Therefore, a good health is the balance of the physical, mental, social and spiritual.
The physical health is the personal and environmental cleanliness;
Personal cleanliness is important for a healthy living. It is includes the simple basic hygiene.
Environmental cleanliness: Inspect your environment regularly; ensure that there is no water logged area around your home, collection of water is a breeding ground for mosquitoes, flies and other things that causes infections diseases.
Regular exercise of the body is required to maintain a good health. Exercise increases the body metabolism, even flow of blood to all parts of the body, it also increases waste and toxic discharge from the body through sweating and urination.
MENTALLY: A good mental health depends on your attitude to life. It involves attitude in business and in social. Thinking or too much worrying causes tension, depression and high blood pressure, heart attack and stroke.
SOCIAL: Man is a social being. A healthy life requires a good and healthy interaction. SThe ultimate achievement in socialization is happiness through mutual exchange of ideas, knowledge and interaction.
